Established in 2000, Kapchorwa Civil Society Organisations Alliance (KACSOA) is an alliance of civil society organisations operating in Kapchorwa, Kween and Bukwo Districts. KACSOA was born out of the realisation that these organizations were working in isolation, with very limited collaboration and interaction, and that poverty issues required joint action and a strong and common voice on issues and concerns with the duty bearers in the quest to address pervasive poverty. From 2007 to date, implementation of programmes was been guided by a strategic plan 2007-2010 which outlined a threefold broad programmatic thrust: Capacity-building, Coordination and Advocacy. Building on that, a new strategic plan has been developed. 2011

Acc-Plus Foundation

Nsambya, ,

Acc-Plus Foundation is a social enterprise that provides the business support to women and youth led start-ups in order to enable them not only survive through their first year of business but also create competitive and sustainable companies. Our first project was offering free business training to groups of business women of Kawempe Division in Kampala, Uganda. This project ran from July 2013 to June 2014 and had very positive but limited results on the business women due to the limited resources at the foundation’s disposal. We currently have a project of providing free business management training to members of traders’ associations in Kampala, Uganda.

They funded training of community volunteers with basic facts about HIV/AIDS and STDs. The training was conducted by ACET-Uganda. Action Aid also trained HIV/AIDS counsellors and trainers. Our mission is to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS/STDs and the social economic effects to the people of the great Kamuli District. Our Vision is to see a healthy HIV/AI ...
